Before founding Auto Effigies with partner Dean Kirkland in 2009, Ren Wicks spent most of his professional life as an advertising art director on automotive accounts. He created many award winning advertising campaigns for Honda, Mazda, Kia, and Chrysler.

For the last 17 years, partner Dean Kirkland has made a reputation shooting photos of well-known entertainment and sports personalities for national magazines, as well shooting for Lamborghini and Mercedes. Dean is known for innovation and versatility, and excels in both still and video imagery.

Following your studio session with us, we’ll view your photos on our website. You select your favorite portrait photograph and we’ll turn it into a handsomely framed 24” by 16” signature print. (You can also choose a custom frame from those shown on our website.)

The best of your portrait and detail photos can be combined in a 11”x 17” leather bound coffee table album. Click on “Books” to see samples of coffee table books we’ve created for other clients.

Your studio session “Documentary”.

Our videographer will shoot the entire event. The resulting video documentary combines the “behind-the-scenes” video shot on the stage, and an on-camera interview with you telling the story of your car, and can include film and video you may already have.
